I have a pdf version of my checklist as provided by the manufacturer. I see there is a way to export a JSON to make mass changes or tweak things external to the cloud editor and reimport. Is there a pattern for merging my already made pdf checklist into the system? I successfully used the AI assistant to make a JSON out of my pdf but haven’t been able to successfully import it. (the JSON it creates looks rather basic and not in the “Mira format”).
Check out https://rdamazio.github.io/efis-editor/ which is awesome and supports a bunch of different formats. You could import what you have into that and use it to quickly clean it up. That would allow you to export to a text file and then hopefully get that into the Goose csv format. Translating what you have to Goose’s json format is probably more work than re-creating using the UI. It would also make your checklist available to use with several panel avionics as well as ForeFlight, which might be helpful.
