I formatted this list with indentation, but on my iPad, there is no indentation. Feature or bug?

It was a bug. Apple approved Version 5.0.5 today which should fix. If after getting 5.0.5 it doesn’t look fixed, then open up your checklist in the editor again (make sure Version 6.1.0.632 or higher) and just save the checklist again an re-sync.
