Query airport info with natural language

Ask your copilot information about an airport.

NOTE: Starting with Version 5.1 of MiraCheck airports across the globe are now supported. If you query by name, it must match the name in the database. We use OuAirports.com and you can see the names there. As an alternative you can query by the airport code as shown below. Some examples:

WHAT IS THE ELEVATION AT ALLEGHENY COUNTY AIRPORT?
WHAT IS THE ELEVATION AT K.A.G.C.?
WHAT IS THE ELEVATION AT KILO ALPHA GOLF CHARLIE?
WHAT IS THE RUNWAY INFO?
WHAT IS THE WEATHER FREQUENCY?
WHAT IS THE DEPARTURE FREQUENCY?
WHAT IS THE UNICOM FREQUENCY?
WHAT IS THE TOWER FREQUENCY?
WHAT IS THE GROUND FREQUENCY?

Once you ask a question about a specific airport, then you can follow up with other questions without repeating the airport name.

Documentation for all voice commands…

Note: when you open up a checklist and tap the microphone, if it is the first time on the checklist, it has to initialize the thousands of airports for natural language searching and it can take a bit depending on your device. If you switch to a different checklist, it then has to do the initialization again because there is content embedded in checklists that get indexed as well.

If you don’t want to use the natural language querying of airport information, then you can got to Talk To Mira->Voice Search to toggle it OFF from the slide-out menu.
